CONTEXT
As the result of a call for tenders, we were selected by the European Union’s External Action Service to organise Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) for European Union’s staff working in the region and prepared them for the security risks they may face.
Our solution
Over 5 days, at our rural training centre based located near Bogota in Columbia, our experts and local trainers deliver practical and theoretical workshops to prepare the trainees to manage incidents, such as:
- armed robbery
- explosives
- insurgency
- kidnapping
- shooting as well as first aid
- crisis communication
- introduction to ballistics
- crisis psychology, etc.
